Hassocks Pre-School Children Officially Open Santa’s Toy Factory

Children from Hassocks Happy Feet Nursery and Pre-School were invited to join Santa in his amazing toy factory at South Downs Nurseries for its official opening on the 29th November.

More than 50 children attended the event and met Santa, who is hoping to raise more £10,000 for his charity this year, The Budding Foundation. All funds raised will be spent helping local young people in need.

Clive Gravett, who runs the charity said, “Santa’s Toy Factory, complete with animated elves, has been designed, created and funded by the Tate family who own South Downs Nurseries. They’ve even donated all the gifts that Santa will give to each child, meaning that all the proceeds from ticket sales will go straight to charity. We’ve set ourselves an ambitious target of £10,000 but we’ve already raised over £2,500 with the amazing support we’ve had from our visitors so far.”

Santa’s Toy Factory is open every weekend until 24th December. Tickets are £5 per child and accompanying adults are free. No booking required, but an early arrival is recommended. One lucky winner will also receive a home visit from Santa on Christmas Eve when he closes his factory.
