Strength In Numbers With PRB
by Lisa De Silva
Celebrations are the order of the day for PRB Accountants. With the appointment of a new Partner, new Apprentice and a potential acquisition in the pipeline, this trusted and respected local firm continues to go from strength to strength.
“Personnel wise it’s an exciting time for us,” explains Director, Chris Whitley-Jones. “At the beginning of August, Kelly Hartney, who has been with us since leaving university was made a partner and at the other end of the scale, we took on our first apprentice, Jade Paterson. Jade has joined us straight from A Levels and will train to become a chartered accountant on the job.”
Staff loyalty is strong and a valuable asset in building the close working relationships with clients that PRB pride themselves on. All the team prioritise a swift response to calls and emails, as they recognise the importance their clients place on accessibility.
Offering a full accountancy service, including both personal and corporate taxation, PRB have specialist experience in direct selling and network marketing businesses. With an outstanding reputation for customer service, anyone confused by financial matters will benefit from their friendly and professional advice.
To further strengthen their hand, the firm also hopes to announce another acquisition in the coming months. In fact, PRB’s own success reflects their ability to grow a business and business development advice is an important part of their service.
“There are two aspects to what we do,” Chris tells me. “Firstly, we offer a full range of accountancy services, whether that’s helping to fill in a personal tax return, running and monitoring a payroll, or advising on taking a company to market. But our strength lies in our commitment to offer our clients proactive advice on their business and financial affairs.”
When it comes to financial planning, this type of forward thinking is valuable on both a corporate and personal level. “Our team can take an overview of your financial position to ensure your finances are working as efficiently as possible, both now and in the future,” says Chris.
Clearly, it’s never too early to start planning to reduce inheritance tax, taking steps to boost a pension, or making the most of tax opportunities in your market sector. This is where the added value of PRB’s professional advice is priceless.
With the tax returns season just around the corner Chris is keen to point out the benefits of completing returns early. “Aside from the fact that late filing incurs a fine, the extra time allows for maximum tax mitigation. It also helps clients plan for the amount of tax involved,” he confides.
So if you are looking for expert financial advice from a committed and friendly team, do give PRB a call.
