The Balcombe Club
The Balcombe Club is in the heart of Balcombe village in West Sussex. The Club has a large fully licensed bar area offering a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments. The Club is also well known as a top local music and entertainment venue hosting Barnstormer comedy nights, live bands like the Blockheads and Dr Feelgood and top-quality food nights with Steve Crane.
Other facilities include our snooker room with 2 full size snooker tables, there is also a Pool table in the main bar area and a competition standard dart board.
The Forest Room is available for private functions, parties, clubs and groups and refreshments can be provided by The Club Kitchen. Food is served on Friday evenings in The Club, you can dine in the restaurant or in the summer months in the Club garden. There is an excellent menu and regular specials meal provided.
The Garden area surrounds the Club premises and has open seating open all year round, children’s toys are also available. The garden is also dog friendly. There is also disabled access.
The Balcombe Club Hall is linked to the Victory Hall. The Victory Hall was built in 1923 as a memorial to Balcombe men who had fought in the 1914-18 World War. It was a practical way to remember their contribution to village life survival and a visual reminder by a series of accomplished and well renown frescoes on War and Peace around the hall. The Main Hall has a side Kitchen area which are available for hire and a fully functional stage area for plays and productions.
Events wise the Club has a full programme of entertainment right through until Christmas and into the New Year.
