Trek The Night On The South Downs Way... 14-15th July 2018

Trek The Night On The South Downs Way… 14-15th July 2018

It’s midnight. Most people are asleep. But not you….

At the stroke of midnight you’ll begin your challenge at the ancient site of Devil’s Dyke, just north of Brighton. You’ll trek through some of the most challenging and breathtaking landscapes the South Downs has to offer, past beautiful Lewes Castle, through the picturesque village of Alfriston and over the famous Seven Sisters cliffs. After watching the sun rise, you will push on through the next day, to the finish line at Beachy Head, Eastbourne, to complete an adventure you will never forget.

The Trek The Night is a 40 mile team fundraising endurance challenge for teams of 5 (4 walkers and 1 support driver). If the full Trek is not for you, then why not take on the Trek Nite Lite? This is just 20 miles, so participants can start at midnight with the rest of the teams or start at the breakfast stop which is the half way point.

Each team will need 4 walkers and 1 driver, however, if you are entering two teams you can share the 1 driver between both teams. There is also an option to participate as a solo walker if you cannot round up a team. Anybody can partake in this challenge as full support from our team with training and fundraising is given every step of the way!

A full English breakfast is included at the half way point, as well as food vouchers for the local pub at the end, where family and friends are warmly welcomed to join the fun and help you celebrate completing this challenge. This challenge is a fantastic opportunity for a team building exercise and has excellent PR opportunities!

All fundraising is for our charity, Action Medical Research for Children. We are a leading national charity dedicated to the health of babies and children and we have been funding crucial research across the UK for over 60 years. We continue to find and fund the best medical research to save and improve the lives of babies and children. Please see the following link for our successes.
