Multi-platinum-selling neo-soul superstar Maxwell has been announced as the first headliner for next summer’s Love Supreme Jazz Festival, which returns to Glynde Place in East Sussex from July 4 - 6.
The 13x Grammy-nominee and triple-Grammy winner, whose debut album Urban Hang Suite propelled him to international fame in the late ‘90s, will close the festival on the evening of Sunday July 6th for what will be his first UK appearance in 9 years and only UK date of 2025.
Maxwell said:

"I can’t believe it’s been 9 years since my last UK show. I look forward to reconnecting with all of my incredible UK fans.”
Maxwell has artfully managed to transfix music lovers for more than two decades, releasing five studio albums, all in his own time and all duly anointed as classics.
The soul singer redefined soul music in April of 1996 when he released his critically acclaimed debut on Columbia, ‘Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite.’

With a total of four platinum album certifications from the RIAA, Maxwell’s latest album "blackSUMMERS’night", earned him a third Grammy, NAACP Image Award (Outstanding Male Artist), and a Soul Train Award (Best R&B/Soul Male Artist).
The Love Supreme Jazz Festival returns to Glynde Place in East Sussex from Friday July 4 to Sunday July 6, 2025.
More acts will be announced in due course.
Early Bird Tickets start at £68 (day, weekend, camping and 'Supremium' tickets are available) and are on sale this Thursday (October 31).
