30 Years Strong

Advertising Feature: With an enviable reputation for both client service and marketing expertise, Brock Taylor have been helping people to buy, sell and rent properties in West Sussex for 30 years, and Lisa de Silva has been to meet them

Founded in Horsham in 1992, Brock Taylor not only celebrates its 30th birthday this year, but also its first full year in Haywards Heath. The firm now offers a full range of property-related services including sales, lettings, land, and new homes across two offices in Horsham and Haywards Heath.

Owned by husband and wife team, Peter and Lucy Maskell, this award-winning independent estate agents has always prioritised high levels of client service.

“We’ve always focused on looking after people,” explained Peter. “Buying, selling, and renting property is stressful, so we do all we can to minimise that stress for our clients by always being contactable. We also put a lot of work into ensuring we get the best price for vendors, with comprehensive research into comparable properties and detailed valuations.”

As a result, Brock Taylor enjoys excellent customer feedback gaining over 30 5-star Google reviews and multiple awards, including best West Sussex Estate Agency (UK Property Awards) for 12 consecutive years. The firm is also affiliated to Fine & Country, a network of estate agenc offices specialising in high end luxury residential property.

Highly regarded for its marketing prowess, Brock Taylor has invested heavily in digital technology, to enhance both the presentation of properties and the customer  experience. Using state of the art Giraffe360 camera technology, allows the firm to generate high quality images, virtual tours, and floor plans to showcase its properties. There is also a fully interactive touch screen store front on Haywards Heath’s bustling Broadway, allowing people full access to the property database at any time of day or night.

“We can use the technology to host online virtual tours via screen sharing. It’s good for buyers to be talked through a property and good for vendors as we can give informed feedback,” Peter revealed.

With extensive experience and local knowledge, the team can deliver on all property fronts. Rob is a land and new homes specialist, who can advise on anything from single plots to large developments; Lucy specialises in lettings,  whether that’s finding tenants or right through to full property maintenance services; Emily and Luisa have excellent local knowledge, while Peter has over 35 years of experience selling property across London and the South East.

To celebrate their 30th birthday, Brock Taylor is currently offering 30% off sales fees, equating to around £2,500. As Peter explained, now is a great time to sell, “Owing to increased local demand, the great London migration, and a lack of properties, we’re achieving premium prices. It’s a great time to be on the market.”
